Conference: ‘Barcelona, from Textiles to Technology: The Development of a Great City’.

Programme includes screening of ‘Ramon Perera, the man who saved Barcelona’ (2006), a film about the engineer who organised the Barcelona’s civil defence during the Spanish Civil War and later advised the UK government during the Blitz; speakers: Chris Ealham and Helen Graham; chair: Paul Preston.

The event is free and open to the public. Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
