Reflections
Watching
black water
Blurring
scrambling the images
Scattering
the reflections.
Recalling
my rovings,
Arrivals
and departures,
Damages
and jubilations.
Dredging
remembrance
In
a gilded slither of faces, places,
My
crews, my good companions, –
They
travel in different ways and distant.
None
are now in this great haven
Of
those I knew when I was younger,
As
I watch black water, weighing
This last ineluctable venture.
