2017 SO Davies Memorial Lecture by actor Richard Harrington, who earlier this year In presented the BBC 2 Wales programme ‘Richard Harrington: My Grandfather's War’, in which he followed the journey his grandfather, Timothy Harrington, made to Spain in 1937 to join the International Brigades.

Screening of the Catalan film 'Uncertain Glory' (Agustí Villaronga, 2017) at 6pm on 3 October in Andrew Stewart Cinema, Gilmorehill, 9 University Avenue. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with film producer and president of the Catalan Film Academy, Isona Passola.
