'From the Angel to Aragon: Islington, the International Brigades and the Spanish Civil War'.  A talk by Richard Baxell.  Tuesday 8 May at 6pm.  

May Day gathering at 6pm for IBMT supporters, trade unionists and labour movement, anti-fascist and anti-racist activists at the International Brigade memorial in Forbury Gardens, Reading RG1 3BB.

Visit the IBMT stall and march with the IBMT banner on the May Day parade from Clerkenwell Green to Trafalgar Square.

 'Anti-Fascist Footprints' guided walk around the East End, taking in the October 1936 Battle of Cable Street, where protesters used the 'No pasarán' slogan of the Spanish Civil War, and many of them went on to join the International Brigades.
